Each week, I asked Mater Pathology to test and send out two tubes of my blood, as follows:

  • Receive Sample A directly from SNP and analyse it for MMA
  • Send the remainder of Sample A to QHPS
  • Receive Sample B from QHPS and analyse it for MMA
  • Send the remainder of Sample B to Westmead

Also each week, I asked QHPS to test and send out two tubes of my blood, as follows:

  • Receive Sample B directly from SNP and analyse it for MMA
  • Send the remainder of Sample B to Mater Pathology
  • Receive Sample A from Mater Pathology and analyse it for MMA
  • Send the remainder of Sample A to Westmead

I asked Westmead to do the following:

  • Analyse all samples, in a single batch, for MMA
  • Store the samples; later tested for homocysteine and sent out to PaLMS
